Coach Ingram played Collegiate Baseball at McLennan Community College in Waco and Arizona State University where he pitched for the Sun Devils in the College World Series in 1987 & 1988. Linty led the nation in wins, was the PAC-10 Player of the year, an All American, and was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 12th round of the 1988 MLB Draft.

Coach Ingram's professional career was with the Detroit Tigers and the San Diego Padres organizations. Coach Ingram began coaching and giving private and group instruction in 1992.

Through the years Coach Ingram has had a hand in developing many players who went on to play at the collegiate level and or were drafted in the Major League Baseball Draft.

Along with being the Head Director of Five Star Performance - DFW Coach Ingram is also the owner and Head Instructor of Centerfield Academy. 

Coach Ingram was born and raised in the deep East Texas Town of Hallsville. Coach Ingram is married to Sharon and has one daughter Kelsey.

Coach Edelstein is no stranger to DFW baseball as he is an alumnus of Trinity Christian Academy in Dallas.  After high school Chris went on to play at the University of Texas where he played for two college baseball legends, Cliff Gustafson and Auggie Garrido. 

Coach Edelstein then went on to play professionally in the Northern League and after his playing career he has since been a hitting instructor and select coach in the DFW area. 

Chris is widely regarded as one of the top hitting instructors in the area and has worked with numerous professional players, several who ultimately made it to the Major League level. 

Chris is now going into his 8th year as a coach with Five Star Baseball (formerly Academy Select).  Chris currently lives in Dallas, TX with his son Nate.

Coach Jordan is going into his 6th season with Academy Select Baseball.  Alan has been coaching at the Collegiate, High School, and Select levels since 2000. 

Coach Jordan played collegiately at NAIA power LSU Shreveport where he was a mainstay in the Pilots pitching staff.  Once his playing career was over, Alan began is coaching career as Graduate Assistant at LSUS.  After that he served as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Centenary College in Shreveport, LA. 

Currently Coach Jordan serves as a Head Coach in both our youth and high school programs as well as the Head Coach and Coordinator of our Summer Collegiate program. 

Alan and his wife Heather now live in Plano, TX where they have 3 sons, Jackson, Reid, and Brady.
